Snacking
Between-meal and late-evening snacking is a leading cause of overfatness. It is not uncommon to consume over 1,000 calories between 8 P.M. and midnight—nearly one third of a pound of fat. Yet it is unrealistic to expect people to avoid snacking altogether. In fact, planned snacking on the right foods can help you control hunger and eat less.
